The Dune Chess Set is a ceramic sculptural showpiece where material innovation and contemporary craft merge to create a tactile playing experience. 

Inspired by the windswept beaches of Northern Ireland’s Causeway Coast, the set captures the dynamic quality of sand as it alternates between rippled and smooth, chaos and calm. Differentiated by texture, rival chess pieces face-off from opposing peaks before descending down into the battlefield below.

Each set comes with it's own handmade wooden box with protective foam inserts, as well as a design brochure sharing Rory's design story behind the piece.
