A Conversation Across Cabinets
The client approached the designer with a vision to transform their underused and over-cluttered living room into a daily evening retreat offering warmth, comfort, and a sense of sanctuary.
Two opposing feature cabinet walls were proposed to ‘bookend’ the room and hold a space for quiet conversation. While one cabinet serves to display and the other to entertain, both have their storage volumes carved out to reveal a softly illuminated niche; its surface shaped to echo the geological strata of the Causeway Coast.
